It is with extreme sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Concetta Stadder (nee Arcari) on Sunday July 16, 2023. She was predeceased by her husband of 32 years Rae Stadder (son of the late Blake and Donna Stadder). She was also predeceased by her parents Luigino and Guiseppina Arcari: sister Pasqualina Arcari: brother in law Dale Stadder. She is survived by her sister Rosina Passaro (Francesco).
She will be missed by her nieces Cristina Petrovic (David), Luisa Passaro-Pepetone (Clinton), Jaime Robertson (Mike), Janessa Nichols (Matt), and nephew Adam Stadder (Becky) and their families.
She will be remembered by many cousins especially Earl Stadder (Jannette), Holly Hall (late Bob Hall), Sandra McCamus (Don), Ed Smith (Marjorie), Bill Smith (Kelly). Her many godchildren, and amazing neighbors within her town and farming community including the many workers who worked on her farm over the years.
She will be fondly remembered by her longtime friend of 48 years Elaine Young, and her daughters. As well as Vito Artale who provided much love and support to her especially in her last days.
A big thank you to the many supportive friends and caregivers for all their help and support with daily check ins, phone calls, and love especially Jill Cooper, Kelly Schweyer, Liane Park, Mary Johnston, Jenna Smith (RPN), and the rest of the staff at Hamilton Niagara Haldimand Brant LHIN.
Concetta will be remembered by her community members for her endless generosity, her beautiful gardens, and her good cooking (especially her pies and cookies). Her and Rae had an amazing 32 years of marriage. Together they loved deeply, laughed often, they worked hard and grew an amazing passion for farming. She loved martinis, watching sunsets, and good home cooking.
Visitation and celebration of life will be on Thursday July 20, 2023 from 2-4 and 7-9 at Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes, 60 Main St S, Hagersville. Funeral will be on Friday July 21, 2023 at 11am at Faith Centennial United Church 28 Main St W, Selkirk. Interment to follow at Selkirk Union Cemetery. Donations can be made to Dunnville Hospital, or charity of choice. www.rhbanderson.com

Loved spending time at the Stadder farm with Blake and Donna, Ray and Concetta. So many yummy pies, friendly cows, beautiful quilts, the best picketed eggs, sweet Dalmatians, and of course the best hugs from Concetta. Sending love from our family to yours. Our deepest condolences.

Sorry to hear of Concetta's passing. We graduated college in the same year and our paths crossed a few times throughout the years. We are so sorry to hear about Concetta. I remember the first time that I met her was at a Christmas party in Selkirk and right away I could tell that she was special. She was the real deal. Very caring with a smile that went right to her eyes.
Rest easy Concetta.

Joe and I send our sympathies to Concetta's family. We have only seen her occasionally over the years, but we always enjoyed a chat and her happy, outgoing personality. Concetta was married to my cousin, Rae, and we are happy that they are together again.

Concetta was my neighbour on Glassco. All of us are shocked. Wonderful memories of all the Arcari's from our childhood.
