Ronald William Mayor

September 19, 1934 - September 30, 2026

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our father Ron at the age of 92. He was predeceased by his loving wife Pat (nee Rogers 2013), parents Bob and Fanny Mayor and brother George (Joy). He leaves behind his children Gwen, Sherri (Jim), Scott (Sylvie), Dave (Pauline), Leanne (Dave), his grandchildren Lisette (Nick), Brett, Marcel, Rachel (Will), Sammie, Jeff (Pattie), Julien (Casey), great grandchildren Harrison, Simon
Audrey, Leo, Alvin, Aurora and sister Ruth (Mike) and many nieces and nephews.

He was a man who knew what he wanted and got it done. Fiercely loyal to family and friends, his love of horse races, the Blue Jays and less deserving of his loyalty, the Leafs (they will win one day Dad!) He will be remembered in our community for his long career at C.G.C. and involvement in local hockey, playing and refereeing over the years. His legacy will continue through family who miss him dearly.

A Celebration of Life will take place at R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Home, 60 Main St. S. Hagersville on Sunday October 18, 2026. Visiting 12-1pm, Service starting at 1pm. Luncheon at Hagersville United Church to follow.

Extended thank you to paramedics, Dr. Yar, Dr. Rahimi, and Nurses both in emergency and 3rd floor of West Haldimand General Hospital. www.rhbanderson.com

Losing a father is a heavy road, especially someone who was such a steady presence in our childhood. Ron was such a kind and loving family man. He will be greatly missed in the community. I am so deeply sorry that Ron is gone, and I am holding you and your families close in my thoughts.

Ron was wonderful and my heart is broken for those who are left to grieve his passing. His kindness and love in accepting me as a daughter-in-law will never be forgotten.
