 Judy Maxwell

Nee: Judith Barbara Anderson
Passed away peacefully with her daughters at her side, at West Haldimand General Hospital on February 16, 2022. Judy loved her girls more than anything, giving them a great strong role model to follow in life. Loving mother of Jennifer Maxwell and Sandy (Kris) Heubner and the best grandma in the world to Aydan Maxwell. Beloved oldest child of the late Peggy & Tud (Reg) Anderson. Sister and best friend to Don & Francoise Anderson, Chris & Gerry Smith and Chuck Anderson. Also survived by nephews Nick McKeen, Dalton (Heather) Anderson and niece Karen Anderson (Miguel Thibault).
Judy was a retired member of the GEDSB’s maintenance and custodial staff. She was a member of Cayuga Legion Branch 159 and helped with their Bingo and other events over the years.
The family will honour her life with a graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery Springvale on April 9, 2022 at 11:00 am with refreshment to follow after in Cayuga. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements by Hyde & Mott Chapel Hagersville, Ontario. www.rhbanderson.com

Dear Jenny & Sandy. I am so saddened to hear of your Mom’s passing. Although we hadn’t seen each other for a while I will never forget all the good times our families had together as our girls grew up as well as all “The Survey” functions. She left you with lots of good memories

I am truly saddened to learn of Judy's untimely passing. I worked with Judy for years at the Haldimand Board as well as the GEDSB. Judy was a dedicated employee and worked hard to make the Job better for everyone on her Crew. I will always remember Judy as a strong, independent, caring person with a wicked sense of humour! Jenny and Sandy we are so sorry your mum has gone.
I still see her on the back of a motorcycle as a bunch of us rode out west, back about 1985.
