Condolences to Chris, Jeremy and Families.
Joy and I worked together for many years at JC Hill School. I will always remember her as a person who always had a kind word and was always looking for something to do - she was very ambitious and loved to 'get things done'. Joy really enjoyed the students with whom she worked and she often went the extra step for many of them.
As people who knew Joy will know, she had a wicked sense of humour and in the past we laughed until we cried, especially at times when we were supposed to be quiet!
Joy was friend with whom I hoped to have coffee or lunch after the pandemic. That meeting won't happen now and I am very sad.

Dear Jeremy and Shayna and Chris and Kristy and grandkids. We send our deepest condolences on the loss of Joy. She loved her family so much and her loss will always leave an emptiness in your lives. But the love and joy she brought to all your lives will never be forgotten. I was blessed to not only call her my cousin but also my dear friend, who always brought a smile and laugh during the good and tough times. All her extended family was always so important to her, and I have so many wonderful memories growing up, of my Toronto MacDonald cousins coming to for a visit every summer and staying on our farm. She adored my parents and they adored her....she always brought joy to our lives. She definitely had the MacDonald gift of the gab and no matter how long between visits or talks, we just picked up where we left off. Joy will be forever in my heart and missed from my life. RIP Joy
