Thomas Jefferey Davey
September 8,1957 - November 1, 2023
In his spiritual peace, at St. Joes Hospital in Hamilton On. Jeff surrendered his last breath to the heavens. Awaiting with open arms, will be his mother Audrey Lois, his father Thomas Davey and his grandparents William and Emilene Staats- nee Silversmith.
Survived by his siblings Darcy (Jenn), Desmond, Jaime (Jill) and his nieces and nephews. Tenderly loved by his special and forever friend Beverly Homer and her sons John and Mike. Forever treasured by his ‘special sisters’ Eldean A. Hill and her daughter Monica Staats.
Predeceased by his brothers Dana, Evan and his big sister Terry-Ann.
Jeff had many cousins and friends who’ll cherish all the moments and memories they shared.
Jeff will return to his brother Darcy’s for viewing and visitation at 20 Oak Street in Ohsweken on Friday, November 3 after 4pm.
Funeral will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 11am at the Lower Cayuga Longhouse.
A kind and compassionate man who loved the hustle and bustle of city life in Hamilton On. Jeff always had a ‘whole lotta shakin going on’. His way of storytelling could always spark the love into some ‘Folsom Prison Blues’, that would shine from his ‘Love Me Tender’ ways. He wore black like Johnny Cash and could ‘shake, rattle and roll’ like Elvis. Jeff always said ‘if he’s going down, he’s going down swinging’ like the song by Porter Wagoner.
