Steven John Hill Sr.
December 13, 1956 - March 28, 2024

 


Peacefully surrounded by his family and friends Steve completed his journey to the sky world.

Survived by his mother Hilda Hill, sister Gloria Webber, wife of 48 years Mary, daughter Trudy (Bill) Montour and grandchildren Rosemary and Timothy Montour. He will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews and special friends Dawn Carpenter, Lisa Henhawk, Amanda Martin, Tina Brant and Brian General, aka Brother B.

Predeceased by his father Raymond Hill Sr, brothers Dwight Hill, Raymond Hill Jr, sister Carol Bomberry and children Bub and Jo.

Steve was an avid photographer, baseball umpire, coach usually 3rd base, dart player, demo derby driver and organizer, videographer and all around fabulous handy man.

In his lifetime he has driven transport trucks, large cargo trucks and completed security guard duties at GRE.

As per Steve’s request Steve will be resting at his home 715 Chiefswood Rd. on Sunday March 31, 2024 after 5pm. All are welcome to join the family with sharing their favourite memories and jokes that Steve may have shared over the years on Monday April 1, 2024 at 10 am.  Cremation to follow.  After Steve leaves his home snacks and refreshments will be available.
