Robert John Lever (Bob)

February 3, 1946 - October 18, 2025


Bob Lever passed peacefully in his 80th year at Gardenview LTC in Townsend. He will be missed by his loving wife, Lynda, of 58 years,  his daughter Corrie (Sheryl), brother Tom (Betty) and sister Judy (Marlene) as well as Leslie MacLellan, Elaine & Jim Auty and Duncan MacLellan. Bob was predeceased by his sister Kathy Blake (John). He was Papa to Shyla, Dillon and Jessica and Uncle to Megan (Dave), Katy (Natasha), James Blake (Jessica)  Tyler, Michael & Shallon Auty and Cam & Adam MacLellan (Faith). He loved his great nieces and nephews and great grandchildren.

Bob will be remembered for his gift of gab, his quick wit, his strong work ethic and his underlying kind, loving & spiritual nature. Always proud to be a trucker.

The family will honour his life with visitation at Hyde & Mott Chapel, R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd, 60 Main St. S, Hagersville, on Tuesday November 4, 2025 from 2 - 4 and  6 - 8pm. A Memorial Service will be held at Selkirk Baptist Church, 19 Main St. W. Selkirk, on Wednesday November 5, 2025 at 11am. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Norfolk Haldimand County Hospice, the Alzheimer’s Society or Selkirk Baptist Church.

Deepest sympathy to the family of Bob, I knew Bob through my dad Bill Thibodeau, my dad worked for Bob's dad for many years, I also remember when Bob and Lynda got married, we were living in Yarmouth Nova Scotia, and you both came to visit us. Once again my sympathies.

Lynda, Corrie, Judy, Tom and families, We have so many great memories of the Levers over the years. The friendships our families shared has a special place in our hearts. Bob was such a friendly , kind man.
We hope you find comfort and peace in the happy memories Bob has given you.
