Peacefully at Norview Lodge Simcoe, on Thursday June 1, 2023 at the age of 57 years. Beloved husband of 31 years to Lorie (Nordin) Fess. Son of Mary Breznyansky, and the late Sheldon & Patricia (Weatherbee) Fess. Brother of Darryl, Gerrard (Valerie), and Dwayne (Julie). Son-in-law of Patricia & the late Roland Nordin. Brother-in-law of Marjorie, and Christina McWilliams. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society. We were really sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. We’ve had many people do projects at the house over the years and none finer than Mike Fess. Mike was always calm & meticulous & his suggestions & solutions to problems were always spot on. We learned to just simply agree to whatever Mike suggested because we knew it would be the right way. Mike was a professional craftsman & every job he did for us turned out better than our expectations. More than all of that though, he was a prince of a guy and I admired him for being such a unique individual. I’m sure he will be missed tremendously by his family & friends. All the best to Lorie during this sad time.
