Mary Irene Winny, RPN
September 6, 1949 - June 16, 2025
Peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital, Hamilton on Monday June 16, 2025 at the age of 75 years. Beloved wife of 33 years to Michael Winny. Loving mother of Lesley, Brooke, Jared, Steven (Michelle), Paul (Lora), Christina (Mike), and Tim (Liz). Dear grandma to 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Sister of Lynn (Nick). Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Predeceased by her parents Lloyd & Lola, sister Helen-Ann (Jerry), and grandson Jacob.
The family will honour her life with visitation at Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Thursday from 6-9 pm. where funeral service will be held on Friday June 20, 2025 at 1pm. Cremation to follow with a private family burial to be held at Hagersville Cemetery at a later date.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Mary. I worked with Mary for 10 years at West Haldimand General Hospital, and she was also my nephew's mother-in-law. I always enjoyed working with Mary, our talks and coffee during breaks, and her sense of humor was always an uplift to my shift. My deepest condolences go out to Lezley and her family. May you feel comfort in the thought that Mary is finally at peace.
