Gordon “Fred" Johns
July 20, 1944 - May 8, 2026

Fred lived a single life, his way. He found joy in the simple things— a good hand of cards, a great cowboy movie, and time well spent on his own terms. He had a love for the classics, whether it was the thrill of the game or the spirit of the Old West. Though his passing was sudden, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He was always watched over with love and care by his nieces and nephews, who will forever cherish the memories they shared.
The family will honour his life with visitation at Styres Funeral Home 1798 Fourth Line, Ohsweken on Monday May 11 from 10-3. Cremation to follow. www.rhbanderson.com Forever Loved Forever Remembered.

Fred was a family friend since the time I could start to remember many snows ago. I'm pretty sure he was best friends with my brother. Leroy, them too, were inseparable. Every time you saw one, you saw the other.
Condolences to the John's family from what's left of the summers family.
May God the creator give you peace and joy.
