  Brian Anthony Jackson

Surrounded by the love of his family, Brian Jackson passed away at the age of 71 on May 15, 2023. Life partner of 51 years to Karin Jackson, father to his sons Ryan (Paula Hearn) and Curtis (Shivaan Burke), ‘Gramps’ to Josie Jackson-Burke, son of Iris and Clarence, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many. He led a rich life filled with passions for cooking, classic cars, carpentry, fishing, the Leafs, the Jays, tennis, family and more. May 26th would have marked 20 years since Brian began his second career at Heaslip Ford, after retiring from a 30 year career at Stelco Steel. He was well loved and respected by his work families. Donations in Brian’s name are encouraged to Hagersville Food Bank, or West Haldimand General Hospital; may the care and compassion of its nurses and doctors (and the nurses of CBI Health) comfort others the way they did our family. The courage, humour and kindness Brian showed throughout his life, to the end, continue to inspire. He’ll be deeply missed. A celebration of Brian’s life will be announced at a forthcoming date. www.rhbanderson.com

Karin, Ryan and Curtis - heartbroken for all of you and your families on the very significant loss of such a generous and loving husband and father. Brian was very special to me and my boys and for that closeness, I will be forever grateful.
I was very sad to see his last few months be a struggle for comfort yet he showed such grace, patience and humour even in that struggle.
Karin - Brian was so fortunate to have you care for him so lovingly and devotedly at home. You were always a wonderful couple and tight family and he is definitely gone too soon!
Brian will not be forgotten by his family and his many friends.

❤️Flora and Doug

BJ and I spent many hours on the road over the last 5 years. He always had each trip planned out step by step and a backup plan for the what if.

Hello Karin, I was sorry to read in the paper of Brian's passing. My condolences to you and your family. I always enjoyed conversations with Brian. I of course was well acquainted with his father. I have made a small donation to the hospital in his memory.
