William Albert Tietz
April 18, 1959 - September 4, 2026
William Albert Tietz born April 18, 1959, passed away September 4, 2026. Bill will be sorely missed by his brothers Robert (Linda), Larry (Enid), Chris (Leslie) and Carl.
He was raised on a farm by Robert and Eleanor Diwell. He grew up with Harry Walhman, Ron (Sharon), Susan and Sandra (Doug).
Bill loved giving and receiving cards. The proof is he kept every card he was ever given. He also loved cats from the time he was a little boy working in the barn. Once his chores were done Bill could be found sitting on a bale with all the cats around him.
He enjoyed bowling on a Saturday afternoon with Community Living. Bill also enjoyed going to car shows to see the antique cars.
Bill and Harry went out once a week for coffee with the Community Living Group. Bill was part of a group called Passport, where he and Harry got to travel to their choice to hear music, shop, go through antique stores and festivals. He loved the old country music.
Bill enjoyed gathering with his brothers and their families.
Visitation will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Fisherville at 10 am Tuesday September 8, 2026, followed by a funeral at 11 am at the church. Christian burial to follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements by Hyde and Mott Funeral Home, Hagersville. www.rhbanderson.com
