It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother William Tewishaw in his 31st year he has made his journey home to be with his late mother Nancy Tewishaw.

He leaves behind his loved ones Brother Zachary (Taia), Elijah, Ellaya, Zachary, Zayne, Athena. Sister Maggie (Sam), Parker, Silas, Scarlet, Nikolas, Violet, Sierra. Sister Amanda (Evan) Zoey, Liam. Sister Terri (deceased)(Duncan) Harmony, Destiny, Marshall, Victoria, Slater. Sister Candis, Hailey, Owen, Lexcie, Devon. Uncle Terry (deceased) Aunty Valerie (smokey). Uncle Norman. And many more aunts, uncles,  nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mother Nancy Tewishaw (deceased), Father William Latimer.

William was a strong, brave, charming guy. He always had a say in everything. If he wanted to voice his opinion he wasn’t afraid to do so. When he’d smile or laugh he’d warm the room, he made friends everywhere he went. Whether it was a good or bad day, William would make the room glow. William will be deeply missed and forever loved. Run wild and free Willy-man.

Sending my condolences to all that knew and loved Willie man. I was fortunate to get to spend lots of time on six Nations and became Willie’s trainer. He would watch the Fight team Train and one day I held the focus mitts up in front of him, and to my surprise in true Willie man style he wound up and gave it a left hook. I held the pads a little bit lower and even from his wheelchair he was able to kick and that was it. I became his trainer. The first time I was scheduled to work with him I went to his house and went into his room and he pretended he was sleeping until I got close enough, and then he tried to bite me. The rest was history and I spent many mornings working with him. Peace and love to all.
