Terry Allen VanEvery
With profound sadness on Friday August 7th, 2020 Terry “Possum” Allen VanEvery began his journey home to the creator. Loving and devoted father to Joel Sault (Jaime). Proud grandpa and no 1 fan to Aaliyah and Kayli. Lifetime friend to Kim Sault and her daughter Elix and Hayli. Cherished brother to Sherm, Tony & Gina, Keith & Deb, Dave & Val, and brother in law to Terry. Predeceased by parents Stan and Alice and siblings Don, Mike, Sheila and Cheryl. Very special uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Possum loved hockey, fishing, and turkey shoots. He was a lifelong baseball player and known as an outstanding catcher. He was especially proud of his coaching role with the Ohsweken Senior Braves ball team. Resting at Styres Funeral Home, 1495 4th line Rd., Ohsweken after 2 pm on Sunday, August 9, 2020. Funeral Service in the chapel on Monday at 1 pm. Cremation. Burial of cremated remains at a later date at New Credit Townline Cemetery. www. rhbanderson, com

Terry was a great friend. He was always there to help on the farm or to drive the Veterans van and helping at the Veterans parade. We hunted Deer and moose together for many years. We are going to miss his kindness. He always helped everyone to get to their destination in the snow. Rest easy my friend until we meet again.

We send our heartfelt condolences to Joel, Jaime and all the families. Terry will always be loved and remembered. He was our devoted and dependable coach for the Ohsweken Senior Braves Team. He helped us to victory of six championships. We held up six fingers. Thank you for being such a sincere friend to my husband Cecil and myself. We have many wonderful memories that will be cherished. Thank you for all your help over the years. On behalf of the Ohsweken Senior Braves, Cecil and Bonnie Davis and family.

My apologies for the lateness of this message. I remember Terry fondly when I was a kid on the farm at the 2nd line. So sorry for your loss.
