August 29th, 1922 - April 30th, 2015
With great sorrow her family announces her passing on Thursday April 30th, 2015 at the Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane, Ontario at the age of 92. She will be sadly missed by her children Margaret (Ken) Dion and Daniel (Debbie) Cook, her grandchildren John (Dee) Cook, Clayton (Ellen) Dion and Eric Cook (Hillary), her great-grandchildren Baver, Elyssa, Raven, Arthur, Mason and Reed. Ruth will also be missed by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Edward Cook, her sister Alma (Albert) Whelpdale, her father Norman Hitchman and her mother Alma Pearl Hitchman (nee Watman). Visitation will be held on Monday May 4th, 2015 from 7 to 9 pm at the R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes, Hyde & Mott Chapel , 60 Main Street Hagersville, Ontario. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday May 5th, 2015 at 2 pm at The Dwelling Place, 2602 Haldimand Rd. 55, Springvale, Ontario. Visitation will be held in the church 1 hour prior to service.
