Peacefully at Iroquois Lodge, Ohsweken on August 11, 2017 Roma (General) LaForme age 88 years wife of the late Ross "Tubby" LaForme, loving mother of Dave & Mary, Terry, Mark, Linda & Bruce, Kathy & Becky, dear grandmother of 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, & 3 great great grandchildren, sister of Orma Gorton & the late Dave Martin. A celebration of life will be held at the New Credit Community Center on August 28, 2017 at 5pm. www.rhbanderson

So very sorry to hear of Roma's passing. Roma was the very first person I met at New Credit when she hired me as a teacher there in 1985. We were not only colleagues but friends. Our sympathies go out to her entire family.

Frank and I are so sad to hear of Roma's passing. What a sweet Lady. Shall cherish our times when we went to see Mark play. and of course her stories about the Blue Jays. May she rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers to the family.

Sorry to hear of Roma's passing.She was married to my mothers cousin so we got along very well when she was me teacher at New Credit and when ever she seen me somewhere she would always take the time to ask how I was doing. She was a very nice person to know.Condolences to all her family.

We were very sad to hear about the Roma's passing. She was a great women and always cared about others. She was one of the elders in this community that always gave you a big smile and encouragement when you needed it. She is now with Bessie and Rita. May knowing others are thinking of you and knowing they are now with the ones they loved and missed give you all strength thru this difficult time. We will always remember her glowing smile and her kindness. Rest in Peace my beautiful lady. Prays and hugs to you all.

So sorry to hear of Roma's passing. She was always a great neighbour for me growing up but she was also a special friend to my Mom, Reta. Nice to know that Roma is now with Bessie and Mom, likely laughing and playing cards. Denny enjoyed getting to know Roma when he worked at her home. Our condolences to the family.
