Rodney “Guy” Thomas of Machias, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at his home.
Guy was born on October 16, 1955 in Buffalo and was the son of Sherwin Thomas and Lois A. Marr. On February 28, 1978 in Buffalo he married the love of his life Rosie Thomas who survives.
Guy was a member of the 6 Nations Mohawk Tribe in the Turtle Clan. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Along with his loving wife Rosie, Guy is survived by; 2 children, Erica Thomas of Machias and Dustin (Lynda) Thomas of Maryland; 2 grandchildren, Hunter and Taylor; 8 siblings, Tracy, Joy, Tami, Nikki, Chuck, Tommy, Brittany and Quentin; his step mother, Brenda Thomas; his 2 dogs, Zoey and Sara and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Resting at Styres Funeral Home, 1798 4th Line Rd., Ohsweken after 3 pm. Saturday where Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at 1pm. Interment Stumphall Cemetery. www.rhbanderson.com
