Willis: Robert Edward    June 16, 1940 - May 13, 2017

Peacefully in his 77th year surrounded by family, Robert passed Saturday evening into the arms of his Saviour. Robert was a proud husband, father,  grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Lou. He will be missed dearly by his children Susan, Sharon (Barry), Mark, Walter (Mistie), Paul (Netasha) and Mary Ann (Ryan). Beloved Poppa to Kristen, Michael, Sheridan, Hunter, Jackson, Ethan, Laila, Olivia, Owen, Liam, Veron, Carter and Madison.  Son of the late Walter & Mabel Willis.  Loving brother of Joan (deceased) & Don, Carol & Walter, and Ruth.  Son-in-law of the late Gordon & Jean Furry.  Brother-in-law of Ada Pearl (George) (both deceased), Harry & Ruth, Bonnie (deceased) & Barry, George (deceased) & Darlene.  Also survived by his Aunt Fern (Bretzler), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Friends are invited to meet with the family Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 at Hyde and Mott Chapel, 60 Main St. S., Hagersville. The funeral will be held at Highway Pentecostal Church, 4501 Hwy. #6, Hagersville on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 11 am.  Interment Hagersville Cemetery, with a luncheon to follow back at the church. Those wishing to make a donation in Robert’s memory are asked to consider the Alzheimer’s Society, Gideons International or his home church, Highway Pentecostal Church. So sorry to hear of Roberts Passing . Doug and Robert had many visits at Tim Hortons. They both grew up,together . Attended High School and had many farming stories to discuss . An interesting man with a great passion for information of anything new going on with the farming industry . Thinking of the family at this sad time . Doug and Vera Greenfield .

Dear Mary Lou & family: We wish to express our sincere condolences to you with the passing of Robert. It is our prayer that God will comfort and bless you all as you reflect on his life. He blessed many people with his involvement in the Gideon's Bible distribution and has entered his eternal reward.
