Robert Edward Harris
Robert Edward Harris, 86 of Tillsonburg, Ontario passed away at Hospice Wellington in Guelph on August 24th, 2023. Robert was born in Simcoe, Ontario on July 9th, 1937.
"Rockin' Bobby Harris" was a talented and well-known musician in the Simcoe/Tillsonburg/Port Dover area. He emulated his favourite musician, Johnny Cash. He was also known as a great friend to all, always had a smile on his face, and could always be heard humming a tune. Rockin’ Bob will surely be missed and is survived by his children, Brek (Erica) and Lance (Tina), previous wife Gladys, and grandchildren Emerson, Ivey, and Jackson. Robert was predeceased by his parents Fern (DeFields) Harris (2000) and Clarence Harris (1994), and bother Richard (1968).
A special ‘thank you’ to all at Hospice Wellington, who made Robert’s stay extra special, with live-music and laughter.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Hyde & Mott Funeral Chapel, 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Saturday October 14th, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made in Robert's name to Hospice Wellington. www.rhbanderson.com
