Athough we will miss him, we are comforted to know that Dad is now at peace. Heaven is a brighter place today. He left us a legacy of love & decency that will continue to guide us.  If the value of life can be measured in lives touched and memories left behind, he was wealthy beyond compare. In honour of Bob perform an act of kindness today………

Doug and Wendy, my deepest sympathies to you and to all of your immediate and extended family. I never knew Bob, but feel that I have been the beneficiary of who he was, by seeing parts of him through the people that you all are. His spirit in all of you will keep his love, and his kindness, and his gentle spirit alive forever so that many more people will be uplifted by who he was, and by who he continues to be. Thank you for sharing his love and his kindness with all of us.
Sincerely
Paul Doughty and family.

Very sad to hear of Bob's passing. Our families were neighbours on Alma Street for many years, members of the United Church together and I babysat for Jim and Judy as a teenager. I remember both Bob and Jean so well. Bob was a lovely, warm man, devoted to his family, his church and his community. My sincere sympathies to all of you.
Warm regards,
Karen Dyet Sweeting and Family

Dear Gedye family - I am deeply saddened to hear of Uncle Bob's passing. My condolences to you all.

I have tried to stay in touch over the years. I visited with both Bob and Jean the last time I was in Ontario with my Granddad (Alan Gedye). As we lived in Manitoba, I never really got to know that side of the family much growing up but always heard many stories through granddad and my dad.

May he rest in peace.

Andrea Guss (nee Gedye)
