On Saturday, September 9, 2017, Ray Earles passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital in his 81st year. Predeceased by son Jeffery Earles. Survived by wife of 58 years, Helen Earles (nee Telford); two daughters, Sandra Earles and Conni Banfield (David Bennett); four grandchildren, Jeremy Empey (Christine), Jonathon Banfield, Nicole Pettitt (Harold) and Kyle Bennett; and five great grandchildren, Dominik and Miya Empey, Chloe, Jemma and Hunter Pettitt. Also survived by his only brother, Roger Earles (Cathy) as well as several brothers-in-law/sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.  Private cremation by Hyde & Mott Chapel, R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., 60 Main Street, South Hagersville.  A celebration of life will be held at the Simcoe Legion 200 West Street, Simcoe on Wednesday September 13, 2017 from 2-4pm.  For those who wish, memorial donations to the Salvation Army in Simcoe, Ontario would be appreciated by the family.  Special thanks to the staff at the Norfolk General Hospital for their care.  Online condolences can be left through the web site for Hyde & Mott Chapel, Hagersville.  www.rhbanderson.com

My sincerest condolences on your loss. Hold tight to all of the amazing memories you have to get through this difficult time. When I think back to when you both hung around with my parents & I tagged along, I distinctly remember Ray's big smile and jovial laugh! I wish we could make it to the service, but please know that you all are being thought of. Sending love, hugs and prayers your way...
