My most sincere condolences to Phyllis' family. Christmas is a time to remember friends who influenced us and Phyllis was remembered fondly as a talented craftsperson, her great laugh and providing encouragement. Met her at a gathering in Toronto, she had a table set up and I was a member of the travelling college travel troupe singers and dancers. She gifted me with hair ornaments and told me to 'keep at it's and 'keep learning'. Niawenkowa, Phyllis.

Condolences to the Bomberry family.
I first came to know Yogi when she was the catcher for the Ohsweken Mohawks. I recall that Doris played second base and Ruthie was the pitcher. When there was an opposing team member on first base, they had some signal. Ruthie would pitch the ball and duck, and Yogi could fire the ball to second base from a squatting position, often picking off the runner heading for second. She had an awesome and powerful throwing arm and was an excellent hitter as well. Ohsweken Mohawks fans will remember her well.
Yogi will not be forgotten.
