MARTIN: PENNY JOY NEE: GREENE
Began her journey in the Spirit world on Saturday May 30, 2015 at the age of 53 years. Beloved wife of 24 years to Russ Martin. Most special Mumma of Dwayne and Brittany, Kari and Tony, and Jared. Dear Mam’a of Clayton, and Danielle. Daughter of the late Stan and Margaret (Garlow) Greene. Sister of Gord, Brenda and C.G., and the late Harry, Dwayne, and Dale. Daughter-in-law of the late Ralph and Norma (Styres) Martin. Sister-in-law of Ed and Shirley, Dan and Arlene, Lynn, Bruce, John, Karen and Art, Howard, Bobby, Stan and Mary, Tom and Sep, and Rick and Lisa. Penny will also be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was employed with the Six Nations Council for 27 years and will be dearly remembered for being a community advocate and having a Heart of Gold. The family will honour her life with visitation at the Styres Funeral Home, 1798 4th. Line Road, Ohsweken from 2-9 on Monday. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday June 2, 2015 at 1 p.m. where family and friends are invited to share their stories and memories of Penny. To Penny's family we send our condolences. I am deeply saddened in the way she left us however I think of all the conversations we had whether it be work related or personal and for those I will cherish the memories I have of Penny. :(

Still hard to believe how quickly you were called away. busy busy here and I imagine you will be busy busy there...rest in peace? I don't think that is the creators intention for you because of the way you honored your life here....I think the creator has an extra special job that no one else can do but you...childhood pals...your place or mine....we ventured off into our own lives...at times our paths crossed and you always shared your unforgettable smile. I am thankful for the friendship we shared as kids and neighbors..the life and times of the rich and famous....rich in the abundance of friendships and of course your bubbly personality made you famous ...famous in our community..Six Nations isn't going to be the same without that awesome smiling personality of yours. So Its off you go ...to do What the creator has intended just for you. Spread your wings my childhood friend:; neighbour ; pal n confidant...
