Suddenly at home on December 20,  2015.  Beloved son of Gilbert (Isabell) and the late Agnes (1991). Brother of Paulette (Gary), Mark (Nancy), and Michele (Darcie). Is sadly missed  by nieces , nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a wide community of dear friends. Paul is also predeceased by his beloved cat, Ms. Ripley (2014). A memorial service to celebrate Paul’s life  will be held at the Hyde and Mott Chapel of  R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes, 60 Main St S.  Hagersville on Thursday December 31st at 1 p.m. Visitation 1 hour prior. Interment St. Patricks Cemetery, Caledonia. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of your choice. www.rhbanderson.com

So sorry for your loss , Paul and I were colleagues at Wardair and aswell neighbours for years while i lived in Toronto he was a great friend and always could make me laugh.Paul s passing came to soon, never forgotten.

My sincere condolences to Paul's family. I just heard the shocking news today (Dec. 30), and it still has not sunk in. I have known Paul for several years, since we met at Ryerson Poly Technic Institute. I knew him to be a kind, forgiving and gentle man. Rest in Peace Paul! Wayne

To the Desjardins Family - Paul was a close friend during our high school years at HSS. While we lost touch, as many do, after high school, I thought of him often and wondered how he was doing - he was a kind, warm, and caring friend. My deepest sympathy to your family.

To the DesJardins family- I am so very sorry for your loss. I am an F/A colleague of Paul's from Wardair and was saddened by the news of his passing. Maya Angelou probably put it best when she said "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel"...and Paul made everyone feel accepted. He was a gentle soul with a beautiful spirit, and that is how I will remember him. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May he rest in peace.

I learned this sorrowful news lately.
Paul and I became good friends serving steaks and roasts at Victoria Station Restaurant in the late 1970s.

To the Desjardins family,
I am very sad to hear of Paul's passing. Paul and I were hired at Wardair at the same time in 1981. We flew together a lot in the 5 years I worked in Toronto. We had great times working side by side as crew members. His positive spirit was infectious. We were on crews to Europe and the Caribbean. Paul and I always enjoyed spending time together on layovers.
My wife Jane and I had a nice dinner and visit with Paul the last time we were in Toronto about 5 years ago. It just won't be the same visiting Toronto without seeing Paul.
