PATRICK JAMES  “PAT” ZDUNICH

Suddenly at the Hamilton General Hospital on Saturday May 23, 2020 at the age of 71 years. Beloved husband of Barbara (Bowman) Zdunich. Loving father of Matthew & Sarah, and Andrew & Kelly. Cherished grandpa of Carter, Payton, Averi, and Taylor. Brother of David & Elaine, Angel, Marilyn & Peter, Charles & Cathy, Teresa & Rod, and Paul. Brother-in-law of Betty & Reg, Bev & Lee, and Paul & Lorrie. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Pat retired from Nanticoke Generating Station after more than 30 years of service. He loved his church, legion and community, as he was actively involved with Hagersville hockey,  known as "The Voice" of the Hawks to many. He was loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends, especially his grandchildren who adored the time they spent with him. Cremation has taken place. A family graveside will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery, Springvale. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Springvale United Church or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 164, Hagersville. Arrangements by Hyde & Mott Chapel, Hagersville. www.rhbanderson.com

So shocked to hear of Pat's passing.
Remembering all the years working together and all the adventures that came along. The fly in fishing trips, the years of coaching hockey and hard fought hockey tournaments with our boys. And especially the stories of those adventures we would tell over and over through the years.
We would like to give our heart felt condolences to Pat's brothers and sisters and to Barb and Matt and Andrew and all their family's and especially Pat and Barbs grand children. We know how much his family meant to him and how much he will be missed.
You are all in our thoughts at this difficult time.

Very sorry and shocked to hear of Pat's passing. There were good times and many laughs working at Nanticoke G.S.
I remember him telling the story of shooting his shotgun from the house door waking his family up in the morning before work to get rid of the sparrow that wasn't supposed to be in the birdhouse. The birdhouse got blown apart also.
