My heart, thoughts and prayers are with you all. May your beautiful Blanket of Memories keep you warm in the days and months ahead. When the wind blows cold, tuck your blanket up under your chin and let it keep you warm. Norm's Spirit will continue to walk with us, we will feel his touch and hear his words when we need them. It was a huge honour to visit with him on Friday and hold his hand Saturday morning to say a final goodbye. We often talked about walking in Hope. I will continue to walk in Hope. HUGS!!

I was attending courses at Renison Institute of Ministry many years ago when I met Norm. He was a wonderful and energetic person who inspired everyone who heard him. He cared deeply about those of us who gathered to learn more about our faith. His love of God is a wonderful memory for me. Thank you to his family for sharing him.

I got to know Norm when he was rector of the Anglican parish of Six Nations. Groups of theology students and faculty members and others from Toronto visited him each year, and he welcomed us with such great warmth, and offered us such wise teaching, and guided us through the Woodland Centre, and showed us around the reserve, and introduced us to parishioners, and gave us a vision of reconciliation. It was always a fresh and deep experience. What incredible gifts he had of wisdom, hospitality, teaching, humility, and faith. He is so very much missed.

I had the pleasure of having Norm for foot care and what a kind, kindred spirit he was. Lots of deep conversations and incredible wisdom, humility and optimistic perspective he offered. He had a deep passion for Six Nations and we bonded on many levels with life lessons. You always came into the clinic with a big smile and a positivity. I loved hearing your stories about going all over Canada to talk to young people. You were and are truly inspirational. My condolences to your family and Norm you left an imprint on my heart that there are good people in this world. Rest on!
