Sorry to hear of this sad news. I grew up with my Aunt Maureen and I being great friends. She was a force of spirit and she had a heart of kindness, compassion and love. This is a woman who's life's spirit should be remembered all the days of your lives, for it is from just after having lost my mom, I learned the only thing that you've got to hold on to is their spirit for the love of living. These great woman, Mom and Aunt Maureen, are and have always been strong woman in my life. For that I am grateful. Life is too short to be sad, right now, so live with the spirit of this love of living that these woman gave to us by blood and by living their lives with passion and love for others. God bless you all, Michael Pokocky and my children Christopher, Jonathan, Hope and Sarah.

Aunt Maureen had a beautiful smile and laugh. During my last visit with her, Betta and Karen - she flashed that smile and immediately I felt like a little girl as she wrapped her arms around me and told us all how happy she was to see us. A cup of tea, many laughs and a few tears as she recalled her life memories. She spoke of how she loved us all. But the most beautiful memory I will have of my Aunt Maureen will be of her looking at you Karen. She didn't want to take her eyes off of you for even a split of a second. A mother's love is so strong and beautiful and I am honored to have shared those moments with you.

My deepest condolences to you Karen, Tim, Josh and Cassie. God bless you all.
