I have such wonderful memories of visiting Marvin and Marion and their family through the years. From baby-sitting as a teenager to visiting after church on Sundays, I have always felt welcome whenever I was in Springvale. Marvin insisted that Bob and I come to Bradenton “ since we were in Florida anyway.” The last time we were in Springvale, we visited Marvin in his “new home”. I took a large cake which we hadn’t used for our celebration at the church. When we walked in, Marvin’s eyes opened wide. “I can’t eat all that”, he said. After a wonderful visit, we left Marvin happily sharing cake with all his new friends. I wish I could be with all the family today in person but please know that as you are gathered to say good-bye, that my thoughts and prayers are there with you. I send my love to all, today and always. Helen Marie.
