REID: Margaret Jane Everley
With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Margaret Jane Everley Reid on April 28, 2015 in her 86th year. Margaret is predeceased by her husband John Harold Reid (2008) and her son Brian Reid (2005). She will be sadly missed by her daughters Marie Reid, Louise (John) Laidlaw and daughter-in-law, Denise Reid. Dear Grandma Reid to John Douglas (Alicia) Laidlaw, Emily and Heather Laidlaw, Jennifer (Wes) Klassen, Melissa Reid (Ryan Lawson), and Jerry (Rachel) Reid. Loving great grandmother to Johnny, Jordan and Kennedy Laidlaw, Kelsey and Cole Klassen, Olivia and Violet Lawson and Alexis Reid. Margaret will be remembered for her many contributions to the community including teaching many courses to girls in Clanbrassil and 30 plus years volunteering at the hospital. Margaret will be missed by her family and friends. The family will honor Margaret’s life with visitation at the Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 6-8 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 1 pm. with visiting one hour prior to service. Interment Oneida United Church Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the West Haldimand General Hospital Foundation.
