CHRISTENSEN, Margaret Frances (nee Nielsen)
Passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Lapointe-Fisher Nursing Home, Guelph, in her 91st year.
Margaret was predeceased by her loving husband of 54 years, Edvard (1999). She will be fondly remembered by her children Else (the late Henry 2017) Clark, Karl (Christine) Christensen, Grete (Brian) Knowles, Jens (Aase) Christensen, Tove (Brian) Morgan, Niels Christensen, Sally Christensen, Mikael (Janice) Christensen, Edward (Tina) Christensen. She was the beloved grandmother of Susan, James, Richard, David, Brenda, Meg, the late Maurice, Tye, Allison, Jesse, Eric, Josh, Jade, Izak, Travis and Evan. She was also great- grandmother to 29 great- grandchildren. She was a dear sister to the late John (Tove) Nielsen of Denmark, the late Pamela (Ingmar) Martensson of Sweden, and Elisabeth (the late Bob) Stephenson of British Columbia. Margaret was born in Denmark on April 12, 1926, daughter of the late Niels and Lillian Nielsen. She immigrated to Canada in 1957 with her husband and her six eldest children. A private family service will be held.
