It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our beautiful baby girl, our Maddie, as a result of a tragic car accident in her 19th year. Maddie leaves behind her parents; Becky Hill & Ryan Anderson; brothers Kalvin (Emily), Job, Noah, Cash, and sister Ashley (& niece Georgia). She is deeply mourned by her grandparents Steve & Sandra Hill, Pat & Les Anderson, Polly Johnson (late). Treasured niece to Steph/Chuckie (Ron), her late auntie Honie, Jason (Celestey), Beha, Dustin (Tracy), Chammy (Mark), Red, Rob (Erin), Andrew; and great uncles John John, Ger (Raida), Yut (Melody), Bill (Cherry) & Jame (Myrna). She will forever be missed by her cousins Kassie, Elijah, Ezrah, Oren, and Bowden. She will also be missed by her extended Grand Passage family.
Maddie was the most vibrant soul. To know her was to love her, her laugh, her smile. Maddie was the only girl in her household of four boys. She was tough, independent, kind, and nurturing from day one. She knew how to hold her own and cared so deeply for her loved ones.
Maddie was hilarious and a light in every room she entered. She loved to fish, car rides blasting Lana Del Rey or $B, her baby guinea pigs Millie and Honey, and spending time in nature (away from bugs). Maddie was an avid baker and was so excited for her upcoming culinary classes, with dreams of culinary school and her own bakery café one day. Maddie was ready to take on the world, a true daredevil, and free spirit.
She was the greatest thing to ever happen to us.

This tragedy hurts so much. Maddie helped me in my own healing while my grief was still fresh. How such a young child with a beautiful soul made me smile again with her drawings. It was a privilege to have been one of Maddie's teachers. From the very beginning she demonstrated creativity, thoughtfulness, and responsibility. I am grateful to her and her friends who would take the initiative to assist me with extracurricular activities within the Art Department.
Maddie was a blessing to our Assumption College community and I feel fortunate to have been a part of this chapter in her life.
My heart goes out to all of her loved ones.

Still so heartbroken. She was truly the most beautiful and kindest soul I have ever met. It was a pleasure being her bestfriend for so many years and I will always honour her in every aspect of life.
