Such a sweet kind generous lady. Remembering gentle ways and of course her baking. Thanks Madeline for the peanut butter pie recipe. Rest in peace.

I remember Mrs Curnow picking me up to go to church meetings. She was a very wise woman and always had great advice! She will be missed.

A truly lovely and classy lady has left us. I am so grateful for the years I spent with Madeleine Curnow teaching at J.L. Mitchener School. She was a wonderful mentor, confidante and friend. She will be missed. I hope she's sipping a glass of wine and smoking a slim cigar in Heaven as we mourn her loss. Condolences to Madeleine's family. May God comfort you at this sad time.

I worked with Madeleine for several years at J.L.Mitchener. Always a classy lady. I was privileged to enjoy the odd glass of wine with her as well. God bless her and her family.

I have fond memories of Mrs. Curnow from being a library assistant at J.L Mitchener School. We always loved the treats she left for us, and of course the year-end parties where she drove us to a park for Kentucky Fried Chicken and then to Hewitt's for ice cream! In my adult years, I used to see her at the Haldimand Press when she came in to renew subscription and we always had a little visit. My appreciation for reading, writing (and spelling) would have started in that library, thank you Mrs. Curnow.
