Leonard Gene Davis
March 10, 1957 - August 10, 2026
Leonard Gene Davis (Lenny), age 69 lost his battle with addictions suddenly on August 10, 2026 in Brantford, Ontario. Born in Ohsweken, Ontario. Lenny grew up in St. George, Ontario in his younger years; which taught him hard work, caring for the animals and gave him a deep connection to the land. He loved fishing, camping, country/old rock music and spending time at the Friendship House and Seniors Resource Center volunteering and chatting with friends. Although his later years and relationships were marked by personal challenges and distance Lenny loved his family. His family wishes him peace at last.
Leonard is predeceased by his mother Florence Davis, his son Leonard Davis Jr., and brother's Lorne and Frank Davis. He is survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren; Angela Leavitt [Ashley Koss & Greg Leavitt}, Justin Sywyk [Kaleigh Sywyk, Seth Sywyk ] Bobbi-jo Sywyk [ Philip Sywyk, Myah Snider, Emily & Aidyn Tompkins], great granddaughter (kahlani) Michael Davis-Cunningham (Autumn) [Noah Cunningham-Davis (Jewelia), great granddaughter Kaliyah] [Simon Hill-Mackenzie] [Kyden, Donivin, Arellia Kocielski] [Cecilia Froman, Michael Davis Jr.] [Alyvia Davis-Cunningham], Joseph Davis-Cunningham, Jennifer Cunningham-Davis (Paul) [Jessica Cunningham], Dakota Davis (Acacia)[Alearah, Wade, Khalil, Kyree, Dakota Emery-Davis] Mary Atkins [Ruby Atkins-Catherwood, Nyla Atkins-Hill and Zadion Atkins] Felicia Kick [Memphis & Xavier].
A gathering will be held at Styres Funeral Home, 1798 4th Line Rd., Ohsweken on Saturday August 29, 2026 from 12 noon until 1pm with interment of cremated remains at Grand River United Cemetery to follow. www.rhbanderson.com
