Leianna LaForme (maiden Curley)
May 28, 1959 – July 22, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Leianna Laforme (formerly Montour/Curley), who passed away at home, surrounded by the love of her family, shortly after receiving a diagnosis of cancer.

Born on May 28, 1959, Emma Curley, Leianna lived a life defined by creativity, resilience, and an unwavering love for her family.

Leianna was the proud and devoted mother of Torek Green (Rosie), Josh Montour (Angel), and was predeceased by her daughter, Trudy Montour (Brad). She was a loving grandmother to Bryce, Alycia, Ashlynn, Sage, Mya, Joey, Justina, Cleveland, Gage, and Preston, and a proud great-grandmother to Coco, Nate, Ricki, Malachi, and Paisley.

Leianna lovingly raised and cared for her great-grandchildren, Coco and Nate, with help in the past few years from Devon and her son Arlo, giving them a home filled with unconditional love, guidance, laughter, and treasured memories.

She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings Jobear (late Frank), Kelly (Sandra), and Laurel, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is reunited in spirit with her siblings Leslie, Lorette, Erna, Karen, and Benny.

Leianna was a gifted artist whose creativity touched everyone around her. Whether through her artwork, her singing, or the music she made while playing guitar, she shared her talents generously with those she loved. She was also a talented athlete who proudly competed in baseball on a national team, demonstrating the determination and spirit that defined her throughout her life.

Above all else, Leianna will be remembered for the love she gave so freely. She had a kind heart, a caring nature, fierce spirit, and a strength that carried her through life’s challenges. Her home was a place of comfort, and her presence brought warmth to everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and all whose lives she touched.

Resting at Hyde & Mott Chapel, 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Thursday July 23, 2026 from 4-6pm.  A Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.  www.rhbanderson.com

The family sincerely thanks everyone for the love, prayers, kindness, and support shown during this difficult time.

“Those we love never truly leave us. They live on in every story shared, every lesson remembered, and every heart they touched.”

Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever missed.

Condolences

Condolences to her family and many friends. I missed her short visitation. She with her buddy now... probably two jolly souls laughing. I thought I had time, but again... time is my lesson in life. Much love to our nieces as they say, "See you later."
