Laura Joy McNaughton
September 16, 1953 - October 18, 2026
On October 18, 2026 Laura (Joy) McNaughton passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital, surrounded by family at the age of 73.
Loving mother of Darryl Longboat (Lyndsi), Trisha Longboat (Shane), and the late Joshua Longboat. Loving grandmother of Shani, Ryley, Harlee, Joe, Spencer (Russell), Kenna (Kole), Lucas (Tiana), Bryson, Owen, Dalton, and Quinton. Great grandmother of Tyra, Quinley, Aubree, Greyson, Chase, Zavier, and Aliyra.
Joy is now reunited with her Son, and peacefully on her journey.
Resting at 4 Bicentennial Trail, Ohsweken after 12 noon on Tuesday, for family viewing. Funeral Service to be held at Styres Funeral Home, 1798 4th Line Rd., Ohsweken on Wednesday October 21, 2026 at 1pm. Cremation to follow. www.rhbanderson.com

So very sorry to hear about the passing of Laura. She was a good mother/ grandmother/friend and a wonderful person. Very kind and considerate to others. Sending my sincere condolences to the family. May knowing others are thinking of you give you strength thru this difficult time. RIP Laura

My condolences. To Joy’all family & friends. I worked with Joy at the Land Research Office when it was at The old residential School., In early beginnings.
