Martin: Earl “Keith”

Passed away on the morning of February 27th, with his son at his side, at the Brantford General Hospital, Earl Keith Martin was 78. Leaving to mourn are his son James (Kat) Lewis of Parry Sound, his sister Gloria Garlow of Michigan, and nieces and nephews.  Predeceased are his mother Flora Staats, his brother Ralph Martin of Michigan, and brother-in-law Bill Garlow also of Michigan. A life-long fan and promoter of lacrosse, Keith was the 1971 manager of the two time Mann Cup champions, the Brantford Warriors. He served two terms as a Six Nations Band Councillor. From Derek Blackburn to Alex Felsky, Keith was a Brant NDP activist. A union leader in the 80s he fought for Maple Leaf workers' rights and pensions. Cremation has taken place. Uncle Keith - You are now at peace and home safe with Grandma, Dad (Ralph), Mom (Sandy), Arnold and Rupert. You are not lost, nor have you travelled far, just stepped inside home's loveliest room and left the door ajar.
