Karen Lisa Beaurivage
July 7, 1965 - February 3, 2022

It’s with great sadness and at the same time joy as we announce Karen’s departure from this earth into the arms of her Heavenly Father on February 3, 2022 at the age of 56. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family.

Our courageous Karen fought an intense year-long battle with cancer with nothing but grace, faith and love.

She will be immensely missed by her best friend of 42 years and adored husband Russell Beaurivage, her cherished daughters Maggie Beaurivage (Hannah Bailey) and Joslyn Manning (Trey Manning), and her little ray of sunshine, grandson Wyatt Manning.

Karen was predeceased by her parents Donna Margaret Wilson (née Sitter) and James Harold Wilson, and her elder sister Carol Lee Atkinson. She will be much missed by her siblings Gayle Hagan (Brian Hagan), Doug Wilson (Barb Wilson), Judith Atkinson, Connie Morrison, and Donna Ireland (Daryl Ireland), as well as her many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and church family.

Karen has been the perfect role model for so many on how to live a happy, contented life; cheerful and generous while spreading her love and joy to family, friends and strangers, here, in Haiti, and wherever she went. She was beautiful inside and out.

Karen’s Celebration of Life will take place February 19, 2022 at Kingsway Church (3776 ON-3, Balmoral, ON) at 6:00pm. Friends and family are welcome to attend. The service will also be recorded and posted online later that evening (will be available at www.kingswaychurch.ca).

At Karen’s request, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hope From Above Ministries (donation information can be found at https://hfamhaiti.org/donate).

Words cannot express the sorrow those of us who treasured having Karen in our lives feel at this time for your family.
My association with her as an employer and friend is a blessing that I will treasure always.
Her kindness, understanding, and intelligence will be greatly missed. Her smile would light up a room, especially with the addition of Wyatt to your family.
Until we meet again my friend.

I had the great pleasure of meeting Karen prior to the family move to Haiti. Jocelyn took riding lessons at my farm and I got to know the Beaurivage family from this. I send my deepest condolences to all who loved Karen. My prayers are that God will provide you with peace, comfort and reassurance. Karen was so filled with God’s love and she shared that love so well with everyone she connected with. May that love live on through her children and grandchildren.

Karen’s life will always remain the high example to me to reflect God’s love in every aspect of your life!
She always had the amazing smile here in Haiti and drew people to her lobe cause of her reflection of Christ
in serving. I miss having her close by and yet even in the final months of life, she kept encouraging and reaching out to others!
She never hesitated to TELL how much she adored Russ and her girls, and she left a legacy of love to many Haitians.
What celebrations going on in heaven now! I can imagine her leading the choirs.. arms lifted, eyes closed, worshipping her LORD!
Love and prayers as you celebrate her life!!
