Jerry Dell Henry

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Jerry Dell Henry of the Onondaga Nation Wolf Clan on Sunday November 1st 2026. Jerry leaves behind his two beloved daughters Kristen and Jerilynn; grandchildren Tawani:noh, Gahsenao:wehs, Enehe:hewi, Honehege:de, Dehonigohago:t, Ohnegahde:gyo, Hojihsodahsri:yo, Kerwin, Lottie-Marie, Lewis Dell, Cheyanne, Sadie and Hunter. He will be deeply missed by his siblings Bill (Doris) Darlene, John (Chris) Arnie, Leon, Deb (Wint), Jay (Brenda) and Bud (Brandee), Den (Amy), along with his extended family and many friends. Jerry was predeceased by his parents; Charles and Betty Henry, brother; George Henry, children; Tonya Marie and Waylon; grandchild; baby Leland and nephew; Ronnie Wayne.
Jerry was a welder by trade, an avid soapstone carver, and a full time Grampa. He loved stopping in and helping his family whenever he could. He also enjoyed the odd Sunday night bingo with his long time friend Char. His presence and his encouraging nature will be missed tremendously.
Jerry will be resting at his sister Darlene’s at 3102 Sixth Line Road on Tuesday November 3rd after 5pm with the Funeral Service to be held on Wednesday November 4th, 2026 at 11am at Onondaga Longhouse. Arrangements by Styres Funeral Home, Ohsweken. www.rhbanderson.com
