It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the sudden death of Jeffrey Robert Mt. Pleasant on Sunday June 25, 2017 at the age of 59 years. Beloved husband of Beverly Lickers - Mt. Pleasant. Loving father of Jeffrey, Tammy, Mandy & Brian, Taina & Sam, Lerisha, and Crystal. Dear grandpa of Savannah, Cody, Dawson, Courtney, Tessa, Jacey, Payton, Vern, Tyden, Ross, Thunder, Chaz, Lawrence, Madalyn, Kylin, Quincy, Haydin, Katie, Nathan, Salease, Amanita, Alaina, Aysen, Kaidyn, and Teyvin. Son of Frank & the late Ruth (Beaver) Mt. Pleasant. Beloved brother of Roger, Janice, Donna & Richard, Carol & Mark, Larry & Theresa, Dave & Tammy, Brenda, and Scott. Son-in-law of Doris & the late Clifford Lickers. Brother-in-law of Cathie and Vernon. Best friend of Brock. Also will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and his morning buddies Roscoe and Oreo. Resting at his father’s home, 1938 4th Line, Ohsweken after 7 pm. Tuesday until 12:30 pm. Thursday then to Grand River United Church for funeral service and burial at 2 pm. Deeply saddened to hear this news. I had the pleasure of being a coworker of Jeffs and he certainly was dedicated, compassionate and humorous. My condenlence to his entire family (furry friends included). He will be missed but never forgotten

So very sorrow to hear of Jeff's passing. We have known Jeff,his mom and dad and his siblings for most of the time that we lived in the village. They were wonderful friends, neighbours, and super babysitters. Our hearts and prayers are with you as begin to absorb the loss of a very dear man.
