Ivan James Touesnard
April 13, 1949 - December 2, 2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ivan James Touesnard in his 77th year on December 2, 2025. Ivan was married to the late Marlene (McBride) for over 52 years. He was the loving father of Louise (John) Townsend and the late Lisa (Wayne) Pender. Ivan will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Alyssah, Lindsay, and Braden. Ivan was born in River Tillard, Nova Scotia, to parents Joseph and Elizabeth (Stone). Brother to Millie (Fred), late John, late David, late Betty Ann (late Wilfred), Tony (Judy), Lorraine (late Patrick), Ernie (Vicky), Albert (late Janice), Wayne (Edwina), Phyllis, Martin (Betty), Marilyn (Roy), Laura (Carl), Lesley (Kenneth), and Mary Ellen. Dear brother-in-law to Wayne (Lisa) McBride, and the late Dwight (late Donna) McBride. He will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Ivan worked many years as a truck driver. Even after retirement, Ivan continued to work for Haldimand Commercial Maintenance.
The family will honour his life with visitation at Hyde & Mott Chapel, R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., 60 Main Street South, Hagersville on Sunday December 7th from 12-2 pm. A memorial will take place following the visitation at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the WHHH Foundation, Hagersville United Church or The Norfolk-Haldimand Community Hospice would be appreciated. www.rhbanderson.com

We are heartbroken to hear of Ivan's sudden passing. Have been friends since the days when the boys helped on our Dad's chicken farm when they arrived from the East Coast. Thinking of you all at this difficult time. Reunited with his beloved Marlene and Lisa. Rest easy Ivan. You will be missed.

Louise John and family. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your father and grandfather Ivan. Many a day was sat listening to Ivan at Timmie's telling his stories of trucking.
