It is with great sadness that the family of Irma Helen Ruth Long-Lumsden-Berthelette announce her sudden passing on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at the age of 76 at Alexander Place in Waterdown where she resided. She was the wife of Belmont Lumsden and the late Gordon Berthelette, mother of Yvette Lumsden-Faraci (late Rick), Christopher Lumsden-Long (Cathy), Craig Lumsden (deceased), Ben Berthelette. Brothers - Elvin (Lois) Long & Elmer (deceased) (Carol deceased) (Marie) Long, Sisters - Mary Long-Doerwald (Axel), and Mable Long-Nix (Bob). She will be missed by 4 grandchildren and 2 Great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents, Murray and Martha (Teal) Long. Helen will be remembered by her family & friends as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019 in the Springvale Greenwood Cemetery, 2512 Haldimand Road #55, Springvale, Ontario at 2 PM.
