Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday September 28, 2014 in his 71st year. Beloved husband of Carolyn (Jonathan) LaForme. Loving father of Randy and Shelly, Debbie and Derek, and Jason and Jennifer. Dear grandfather of Brent, Leah, Zachary, Brianna, Kyle, Kelsee, Holly, Brett, and Jacob. Dear great grandfather of Sylken. Son of the late Harold and Marie (Carpenter) LaForme. Brother of the late Darlene, Ralph and the late Anne, Marvin and the late Sandra, Cecil and Judy, Irene (deceased) and Lawrence, Gary and Nancy, Betty and Francis, Joan and Micky, Margaret and Phillip, and the late Albert (infant). Son-in-law of the late Stanley and Maizie (Powless) Jonathan. Brother-in-law of Marlene (deceased) and Gord, Bev and Ed, Theresa, Kenny (deceased) and Annie, Roger, Stanley and Cathy, Keith and Shelly, Valerie and Walter, Pat and Dave, Pixie and Ollie, Darlene and Mel, Lorelei and Gary, and the late Christopher. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Harold was an Lifelong Ironworker with Local 736, Hamilton. Resting at the Hyde & Mott Chapel, 60 Main Street South, Hagersville after 7 p.m. Tuesday. Evening Service 7 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday October 2, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment New Credit Cemetery.
