Harold (Hal) Dawson
April 19, 1945 - July 6, 2026
Hal passed away peacefully on July 6, 2026, surrounded by his family, after a short but courageous battle with cancer.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Ruth; daughter Deanna; son-in-law Andrew; and grandchildren Kyle, Abbey, and Noah. He is also lovingly remembered by his siblings Mary, Marg, David, Ken, and Don, as well as by their extended families. Hal was predeceased by his siblings Jack, Jim, and Lexie.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nurses at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton, especially those on the 4th and 5th floors of the Juravinski Tower, for the kindness, compassion, and care they showed Hal and his family during this difficult time.
