PAYNE, Geoffrey passed away peacefully at Stedman Community Hospice, Brantford on July 10th 2018 at the age of 93. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Hilda. Loving father of Susan, JoAnne (Bob) and Corinne. Cherished Dah of Jason (Chelsea), Chris, Holly (Stephen), Cass (T J), Brady, Heather and Nick. Proud Great-Dah to Meah, Isla, Lucas, Anneliese and Jessica. Will be sadly missed by sister-in-law Janet (UK). Geoff was a retiree of Dofasco, served with the British Royal Navy during WWII and was a member of Legion 154 Caledonia. The family will honour his life with visitation at Hyde & Mott Chapel of RHB Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Thursday, July 12th from 6 - 8pm where a Veteran Service will be held on Friday, July 13th at 11 am. Interment at Hagersville Cemetery. Special thanks to LHIN, the Palliative Care team especially Natasha, Cara, Lora and Stedman Hospice for their loving care and support.
