Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Friday, September 24, 2021 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Alexandrine Hess. Loving father of Jamie Hartman and Garrett Johnson. Cherished stepfather to Kevin, Rhonda, Steven, Karen, and Linda. Predeceased by his parents Russell Hess & Laura Davis, and siblings Stella, Eleanor, Maxine, Johnny, and Jennie. Gary is survived by his siblings David (Wanda), Wendy (late Claire), Sally (Kevin), Iris (Bill), and Laurie. He leaves behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren, a large extended family, and many friends. A family service will be held at the home on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.
