Frank Dubniczky

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father Frank (Franz) Dubniczky. He was born in Dunabogdany Hungary on November 22, 1933, the son of Franz Dubniczky and Julianna Dubniczky (Ott). He is survived by his sister Anna Frech. The family was forced to flee Hungary and fled to Germany when Frank was at a very young age. After surviving the 2nd world war in Germany, they then immigrated to Canada with his family when he was at the age of 20. On the ship to Canada, he met and fell in love with Rose Reichenbach. They were married in Alberta in 1955 and moved to Toronto with both of their extended families to build a better life. After 2 years Frank and his father Franz together purchased the farm on Cheapside Road. This is where Frank and Rose lived and raised their family for the next 32 years until Rose passed away in 1989 of cancer. Frank was a full time welder for over 40 years as well as managing the family farm. Their children Brian (Carole), Annemarie (Peter), Frank (Darlene), and his grandchildren Natalie, Danielle, Christine, Aja, Tiffany, and Mackenzie and all of their respective spouses and children will miss him beyond words. In 1996 Frank married Helen Jankowski and once again his devotion to his wife Helen has been unwavering. Throughout her battle with Parkinson’s disease, Frank was her guardian in every single way. Frank is also pre-deceased by Helen on April 9th, 2021 and survived by her children Leonard (Rosemary), Kathy (Ron) and their families. There are no words to describe how much we will miss this honourable and respectable man that we have had the privilege to call DAD. A private mass for the family will be held at St. Anne’s Parish. Charitable donations would be greatly appreciated to a charity of your choice in honour of Frank. Arrangements by Hyde & Mott Chapel, Hagersville.  Online condolences can be made at www.rhbanderson.com

We are so sorry to learn of Frank's passing. Uncle Frank was a devoted husband to Aunt Helen. He could always be counted on for sage advice, a good story or joke, and faithfulness to the Church. We all respected him and admired his tireless efforts in caring for Aunt Helen. My father especially enjoyed talking to Frank. He would greet you with a smile and would give you his honest opinion on any subject. We will truly miss him. Our sincere condolences from Andra Kelly, Casey Kelly, James Waddell and our family.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in Frank's family, especially his children, during this sad time. I am Helen's first cousin living in Windsor, and although I enjoyed only limited occasions to visit with Frank, his kind manner, gracious spirit and, certainly, his love and caring for Helen were front and center at every meeting. I so appreciated them joining me in Windsor for my son's wedding just 8 years ago. I am so sorry for your loss. May Frank rest comfortably in God's peace, mercy and love.
