AWDE: Ethel Eileen
We are saddened to announce the passing of Ethel Eileen Awde (nee Makey) on Friday June 5, 2015 at Burton Manor, Brampton Ontario, in her 97the year. Predeceased by husband Roy Awde, (1978), daughter Dorothy Bowman (2008) and granddaughter Kaylen Awde (1973). Loving mother of Gerald Awde (Helen 2014) of Barrie and Donald Awde (Janice) of Brampton, and mother-in- law of Charles Bowman of Florida. Lovingly remembered by 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Mum will be remembered for her wonderful quilts, warm cozy Afghans and fabulous chocolate pies. At the request of the family, a private interment of her ashes will take place at Balmoral Cemetery, Rainham Township at a later date. She is now at peace with Dad.
