Suddenly at Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Monday, September 26, 2016 at the age of 88 years. Beloved companion and best friend of Maxine Herman. Loving father of Gary (Linda), Rob (Annette), and Rick (Sandra). Dear grandfather of 8 grandchildren. Brother of Catherine. Eric will also be remembered by his nieces and nephews, and Maxine’s children; Arthur (Debi), Beverly (Ian), and Bonni (Cecil) and their families. The family will honour his life with visitation at the Hyde & Mott Chapel, R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A memorial service will be held at the Selkirk Baptist Church on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 11 am. Interment of cremated remains will be held at Caledonia Cemetery at a later date.
