Edith was a lovely lady. It was an honour to be of service to her when I worked at Parkview. I was happy to furnish her with a little entertainment by bringing her interesting books to read. To her family, I am very sorry for your loss.

I am an old friend of Edith's, Edith Joyce and I grew up together, went to school together, we had many happy memories and had kept in touch for many years. My sympathy to her family.

Thank you all for the kind words.

Recently Grandma's sister, Joyce Clark-Beacon, passed away and thinking of her reminded me of happy family moments with both of them together. I remember plenty of loud talking, a common Gee-trait, and laughter when Aunt Joyce, Grandma and others were in the same room when I was growing up. I'm sure they are both having a good laugh together now.
