My sincerest condolences to all of the Campbell family on Doug's passing. Have known him from our high school days, especially the band, and will miss our catch up chats in the grocery store. I am sorry he won't get to fulfil his retirement dream of moving to the west.

I will miss seeing Doug every morning at the front door. As somebody who was not afraid to speak in honesty, I never had to guess what he was thinking as he often shared freely. Doug was one of a kind and there is no way that he will ever be replaced. I so appreciated his candor and his truthfulness. HES is synonymous with Doug Campbell as this was his second family. Rest in peace my friend, I will miss you.

I'm very sorry to hear of Doug's passing. I knew Doug best from the Haldimand-Norfolk Concert Band and have missed his presence in the french horn section these past few years. He was an accomplished player. However, my best memory of Doug was long before I even knew who he was, when I was a young girl, and he played Max in the HSS production of The Sound of Music....."Presto chango!!!" For some reason, this has always resonated with me. Rest in peace and enjoy that concert band in the sky!!
